Privacy Policy

ChangeProof helps contractors document scope changes, supporting evidence, pricing impact, and customer decisions. This policy explains information processed when you use the service.

Information we process

• Account and authentication information, such as email address and identity-provider identifiers.
• Profile and company information, including name, company name, trade, contact details, and business address you choose to provide.
• Customer, project, job-site, scope-change, pricing, approval, and audit-record information entered into ChangeProof.
• Evidence you upload or capture, including photographs and short videos. Video evidence may contain audio.
• Customer approval information, including signer name, email, decision, comments, timestamps, and technical request metadata used to protect the approval record.
• Subscription and entitlement information. ChangeProof does not need your full payment-card number when purchases are processed by an app store or supported payment provider.

How information is used

We use information to authenticate users, operate the contractor workspace, store and generate ChangeProof records, provide customer approval links and reports, enforce account entitlements, secure the service, respond to support requests, and improve reliability.

AI-assisted drafting

When AI drafting is used, contractor-written scope text may be sent through a server-side AI service to propose structured wording. AI output is assistive and editable. ChangeProof does not give AI authority to approve work, set contractual state, or silently change price.

Service providers

ChangeProof uses service providers for cloud database, authentication and storage, mobile platform distribution and billing, and optional AI processing. Depending on the surface you use, these may include Supabase, Apple, Google, and Stripe. Provider processing is subject to their applicable terms and privacy practices.

Retention and deletion

Workspace records are retained while your account is active so you can retrieve historical ChangeProof records. An authenticated account-deletion request removes the active ChangeProof account, database workspace, and stored account media through the product deletion workflow. Limited security logs, provider records, or backups may remain for a provider's operational, fraud-prevention, legal, or backup-retention period.

Sharing and sales

We do not sell personal information. Information is shared only as needed to operate the service, process a user-requested transaction, comply with law, protect the service, or when you intentionally share a ChangeProof approval link or record.

Your choices

You can update account/company details in the app. You can request account deletion from the app or use the public account-deletion request page if you cannot access your account.

Security

ChangeProof uses authenticated access controls, row-level data isolation, private storage controls, and server-side authorization. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
